National Labour Day Project

The National Labour Day Project was held at the Rudolph Elder Park on Monday, May 24, 2015. Under the theme “Labour for Love:  nurturing our children”, the Rudolph Elder Park was chosen as the parish project as it was considered as an ideal site for creating children friendly spaces. The project included the construction of a swing set, jungle gym, Dome, slide and sea saws. Tables and seats installed around trees within the park were sponsored by the African High Commissioner.

The parish will also be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Morant Bay Uprising on October 11, 2015; which makes the parish quite significant for this year.
