ADMINISTRATOR (GMG/AM 1)
Under the general direction of the Human Resource and Facilities Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Corporate Services Department.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Record Keeping
Updates organization charts and spreadsheets with staff information on an ongoing basis, and provide statistics for the preparation of HR monthly reports.· Client Service
Assists in scheduling interviews.
Processes Leave requests and prepare advice letters.
Processes documents relating to recruitment, promotion, retirement, transfer, welfare, and discipline of all employees.
Helps to maintain company organization charts and employee directory.
Assists in preparing job letters & employment contracts.
Manages enrollment and termination advisory to group health, group life, and pension providers.
Manages attendance register by entering leave data and preparing reports as needed.
Responds to general HR queries from internal/external customers.
Sets up meetings, arranges meeting rooms, invites attendees, and prepares minutes of meetings.· Filing
Maintains the employee’s personal files in line with company policies and government regulations.
Prepares advertisements for vacancies in the Council, for posting internally and in the print media.
Works alongside HR Manager on the following projects:

Exit Interview Process
Reward and Recognition Schemes
Performance Development Programme
Job Profiles/ Job Evaluations

Assists the Human Resources & Facilities Manager with various research projects, and/or special projects.

Qualifications: 

Qualifications/Personal Skills/Attributes
 
A Certificate/Diploma in Human Resource/Personnel Management and at least two (2) years’ experience in a similar capacity; preferably in the Public Sector.
Proficient in the use of computer software especially Microsoft Office Suite
Good communication skills
Good interpersonal skills
High degree of confidentiality and flexibility
Detail-oriented and well organized with time management skills
Team and results-oriented 

Responsibilities:
