Records Clerk (PIDG/RIM 1) – (Vacant) - 3 posts, salary range $655,604 - $779,307 per annum and any allowance(s) attached to the post.

Qualifications: 

Minimum Required Qualifications and Experience
 
Graduated from a Secondary Institution with four (4) subjects at the CXC or GCE ‘O’ Level including English Language and a numeric subject.
Certificate in Records Management would be an asset.

Responsibilities: 

Records Clerk (PIDG/RIM 1) – AuditJob Purpose     
 
To provide administrative support in the Internal Audit Unit by assisting with a range of duties, relating to Audit functions/operations. The incumbent is required to organize and maintain filing systems using programs from Microsoft Office to document information and to develop and manage these documents for easy access and efficient reporting.
 
Key  Output
 
Preliminary reports drafted.
Financial record retrieved.
Working papers prepared.
Files maintained. 
Key Responsibilities 
 
Preparing working papers, recording in a prescribed format the information pertinent to the audit records or conditions and findings;
Ensure that working papers are properly prepared, organized and submitted to supervisor for review;
Clears any supervisor queries on the working papers submitted;
Prepare individual work and timesheets;
Prepare charts, tables and other exhibits to aid in the presentation of audit findings;
Draft reports from working paper and submit for supervisor’s review;
Assist with conducting assigned audit activities in accordance with the instructions given by the Senior Internal Auditor;
Filing of pensioner’s life certificate; 
Assist in collecting data relating to the operations of barber’s & hairdressers;
Checking operations relating to barbers, hairdressers, butchers and registration of vendors process;
Conduct quarterly checks for pensioners who are non-compliant and prepare report on same;
Filing and updating various documents for Councillors;
Check travel claim for Councillors;
Maintain and update records of deceased Pensioners;
Assist with the examination of payroll matters relating to Commercial Services Unit.
Responsible for the safe keeping of the audit records and files.
Performing any other duties assigned by the Senior Internal Auditor from time to time.
